The 'house cake' from French Basque Iparralde filled with pastry cream and/or fruit jam.
Simple, yet elegant hard crust cake (pâte sablée) we bake in three versions: a rich dark-rum powered vanilla cream with almond aroma, a dark cherry jam, combination of the two or dark chocolate.
A medium-sized cake that serves 6 to 8 and to be enjoyed during your family evenings, dinner parties or celebrations.

Ingredients: Whole milk, eggs, wheat flour, sugar, (bourbon madagascar) vanilla, dark rum, butter, almond, baking powder, cornstarch, fruits, pectin, cacao powder and/or dark chocolate. Allergenes: Contains gluten, dairy products and egg. May contain traces of nuts, peanuts, selery or soy.

Keeps well 4 to 5 days when stored airtight contained outside of the fridge. May also be frozen: take out of the fridge 12 hours before consuming. Best served at room temperature.
